128k MxDS1 Data Shuttle

The Data Shuttle (MxDS1 & MxDS2) are hand held memory/data shuttles for the shop floor. They are ideal for applications where cables or standard DNC solutions are impractical or impossible. Memex Data Shuttles use a built-in RS232 port to transfer data at rates up to 115k baud.For the MxDS1, simply connect the Shuttle to your machine tool control and use the two buttons to initiate the transfer. The MxDS2 connects even easier, but with 62 files, 2 Meg (2041k) of Data storage and an AUTO Mode for ease of use - its a real step up. Unlike PCMCIA cards, Memex Data Shuttles don't need any special plug-in (PC) boards, custom connectors, cables or exotic software to work with your existing equipment. The unit comes in 128k and 256k sizes, and now a full 2 MB of memory is available!
